The Chico Seed Lending Library (CSLL) is a partnership program with the Butte County Library, GRUB Education Program and Earthshed Solutions. Earthshed Solutions facilitates CSLL outreach through this website and emails, maintains the seed library inventory, and fiscally sponsors CSLL ensuring all donations to CSLL are tax deductible through the 501(c)(3) public charity. GRUB Education Program provides education on seed and seed saving, the monthly ‘Lettuce Get Together’ topics and helps collect seed varieties for borrowing. The Butte County Library -Chico Branch graciously provides the space for the seed library as well as help with patrons and volunteers, books on seed saving/gardening and so much more.
